I retired from ESAB Welding & Cutting Products in February, 2007, having worked there for 32 years. After working part-time since 2007, I retired from ESAB completely as of January, 2015.I served 12 years as secretary of the Board of Directors of the P. Buckley Moss Society. I continue as the President of the local Moss Chapter, Lake Marburg Moss Chapter.
Bill & I have been married since December, 1961 and have three grown children, four special grandchildren, and six adorable great-grandchildren. Life has been very good to us.
We are both enjoying retirement! We recently bought a one-floor two car garage at pubic sale, completely renovated it and moved the first weekend in June, 2021.
Two incidents stand out: One of leaving school during a study hall and taking a short cut thru Mt. Olivet Cemetery and getting stuck in the snow in a Model "A" Ford.
The other of being in a speeding car rounding the corner at Rest Haven Cemetery; the driver lost control, we hit a telephone pole and my friend and I were thrown out the backseat onto the road. Luckily, we were not hurt!
