Comments:
After high school graduation, I attended West Chester University, majoring in Elementary Ed. In 1965 I graduated with a BS in Ed. and married Sonny Hershey. The next seven years I taught school in PA and MD. Our son was born in 1973, and a new chapter in my life began as a mother. I worked part time for many years in various education related jobs, ending as the director of a preschool for seven years. I retired in 2002. We lived in the Reading, PA area(Fleetwood) from 1982 until 2008. In July of 2008 we moved to Columbia, SC. Our son and family are here as well. Sonny and I enjoy traveling and have been to many wonderful places in the USA and elsewhere. I also stay busy volunteering, playing tennis, biking, antiquing, and reading. Life is good!
