Not only did I attend South Western from it's opening in 1959, and graduate in 1965, but my wife, Carol, was a faculty member there from 1972-2005. She is the daughter of original faculty member Charlotte Miller. So South Western has been a big part of our lives for a long time. I worked at Gettysburg Hospital as an anesthetist for 26 years, retiring in 2012.

Having been a seventh grader in 1959, I was at South Western while you were juniors and seniors. You set high standards for future classes to live up to. It was a very exciting time for all of us, and I feel fortunate to have been there for the first chapter of South Western Mustang history. Thank you for allowing me to be a guest here, and to continue to look up to the upper classmen.
